On Sat. last we played table toppers Arra in the league. As expected Arra were on the attack from the kick off and created many good scoring chances in the first half but Rearcross defended very well espically Pat Carroll in goal who made a couple of fine saves to keep the score nil nil at half time. Rearcross started the second half in a much more posotive fashion and our midfield began to dominate with Aaron Ryan and Conor Nolan creating several good chances however Arra defended well to keep the the game scoreless. Mid way through the half the visitors were denied a goal when a brilliant free kick struck the crossbar.This was to be be their last chance as Rearcross went on the attack again and were rewarded with five minutes to go when subsitute Conor McLoughlin rolled a short pass to Conor Nolan who picked out Adam Hurley 10 meters from goal and he gave the Arra keeper no chance with a powerful right footed shot to the roof of the net
